In Pokémon Battle Revolution, every battle in Colosseum mode is played with a Battle Pass: a team of six Pokémon and a customized trainer. Here are the types of passes, the trainers and the Rental Passes.
Types of passes
- My Passes: you choose the trainer, their name, appearance and expressions, and fill the pass with Pokémon copied from your storage, transferred from your DS games. There are six trainer types: Boy, Stylish Boy, Burly Man, Girl, Stylish Girl and Little Girl.
- Friend Passes: the passes of your online opponents, which you could collect at the end of a battle. They have not been available since the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection shut down in 2014.
- Rental Passes: ready-made teams that cannot be modified.
Rental Passes
At the start, you must choose between Sherry, with first-generation Pokémon, and Nathan, with fourth-generation Pokémon. Defeating the Gateway Colosseum unlocks more passes.
