Pokémon Rumble Blast takes seconds to pick up: you move, you attack, you collect toys. A few tips will still help you progress much faster and build a solid collection.

Toyland.

Battle basics

  • Each toy Pokémon has two attacks, assigned to two buttons. Vary them depending on the enemy.
  • Types matter: an effective attack deals far more damage.
  • Between battles, swap toys to pick one better suited to the level.

Collect to progress

Toys don’t gain experience. To get stronger, you have to find better ones with higher power. So always keep your most powerful toys, and don’t hesitate to replay a level to get an interesting Pokémon. Toys with a nickname get an extra bonus.

Coins and moves

The coins you pick up are used at the move vending machines in towns: some sell a specific attack, others a random attack or a move swap. Teaching a powerful attack to a good toy can change everything.

Playing with two

In local co-op, levels are harder, but your chances of finding toys go up. StreetPass also unlocks rare Pokémon. See Game modes.

Passwords

From East Town onward, Munna accepts passwords that give you powerful Pokémon. Enter them early: they make the rest of the game much easier. See Passwords.
