Origem do nome: Mewtwo significa “Mew dois”: é o clone geneticamente modificado de Mew, cujo nome viria do japonês myūtanto, “mutante”.
Aparência: Ele mantém traços de Mew, como a cabeça de gato, mas mede 2 metros e tem silhueta quase humana. Costuma se deslocar levitando, e sua longa cauda lembra um cordão umbilical.
