Every successful mission earns Explorer Points. By accumulating them, your team climbs in rank. In Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, the rank rewards an item at each milestone and sets the capacity of Kangaskhan Storage, which was unlimited in the first installment.
The rank table
| Rank | Explorer Points | Kangaskhan Storage |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Starting rank | 64 items |
| Bronze | 50 | 96 items |
| Silver | 400 | 200 items |
| Gold | 1,600 | 320 items |
| Diamond | 3,200 | 480 items |
| Super | 6,000 | 560 items |
| Ultra | 10,000 | 640 items |
| Hyper | 15,000 | 800 items |
| Master | 77,777 | 1,000 items |
The Master Rank, at 77,777 points, is the highest in Time and Darkness. Explorers of Sky lowers the thresholds and adds four ranks beyond it, up to the Guildmaster Rank at 100,000 points. See Explorers of Sky ranks.
The Secret Rank
After the story, rescuing Scizor in Crevice Cave grants the Secret Rank. It is not a fame rank: it stacks with the others, is shown by a small star, and unlocks the special Seven Treasures missions.
Earning points
- The hardest missions earn the most points.
- Outlaw notices, which ask you to arrest an outlaw, are lucrative.
- Rescue missions for other players also earn points.
- Accept several missions for the same dungeon and complete them in a single exploration.
