Pokémon Friends is played in short sessions. Here is how a game unfolds, along with our tips, based on Poképédia and Serebii.
- Untangle: solve a series of three puzzles; depending on how well you do, you earn a nicer or plainer ball of yarn.
- Knit: put the ball of yarn into the plushie maker, which creates a random plushie from those of that yarn type.
- Collect: the plushie is added to the catalog; a plushie you already have can be remade for two balls of yarn, except Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.
- Decorate: display your plushies in the Plush Room, with furniture and wallpapers.
- Help: the residents of Thinkville ask for plushies and give you furniture and experience in return.
On mobile, the free version limits daily untangling; the Base Pack, included on Switch, removes the limit. See the packs.
