Pokémon Sleep follows the rhythm of your nights. Here is how a typical day works, based on Poképédia, along with our tips for a good start. See also our article on getting started and making the most of your research weeks.
At night: tracking your sleep
- Start a session at bedtime and place your phone near your pillow, or use the Pokémon GO Plus + or a compatible watch.
- A session must last at least 90 minutes; a maximum of two sessions per day are scored.
- The score, out of 100, depends on duration and sleep stages: dozing (light), snoozing (medium), slumbering (deep).
- Your dominant sleep type determines the sleep style of the Pokémon that are attracted.
In the morning: study and recruit
- The score becomes Drowsy Power, multiplied by Snorlax’s strength: the higher it is, the more Pokémon show up, with rarer sleep styles.
- Photograph each sleeping Pokémon for the Sleepdex.
- At snack time, give them Poké Biscuits: at maximum friendship, the Pokémon joins your team. The professor gives you one biscuit every day.
During the day: feed Snorlax
- Your helper Pokémon, up to five on the active team, gather Berries and ingredients.
- Snorlax has three favorite Berries and a desired dish type this week: feed it accordingly so it grows faster.
- Cook dishes with your ingredients, following the recipes. See the recipes.
During the week: change islands
Each week, from Monday to Sunday, you study one research area, with its Snorlax and its Pokémon. The sleep styles you observe unlock new areas. See the research areas.
