Learn with Pokémon: Typing Adventure is easy to pick up in a few minutes. Here is how the game works and in which order the courses open, based on Poképédia.

The basics

  • On a course, Pokémon appear one after another: type their names to study them.
  • Typing without mistakes and quickly earns more points.
  • Depending on the difficulty, the name is shown in full, in part, or only its first syllable.
  • At the end of a course, you get a points summary; some courses finish with a boss, such as Reshiram, Zekrom, Cobalion, Serperior, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Terrakion, Virizion, Zoroark, Kyogre or Groudon.
  • Each course has three medals: bronze, silver and gold. A course’s bronze medal often unlocks the next one.

Course order

The adventure follows roughly this sequence:

  1. The start: Alt Massif and Home, then X Shore, which opens the Space Bar Trek, C Beach and D Pass; the W Islands open the S Garden and the Control Room.
  2. The middle row: S Garden, then Q Plains and E Forest (study Serperior), R Rocks, F Trail, G Manor (study Gengar) and H Peak (study Groudon).
  3. The center of the keyboard: Y Hamlet and N Cliff, Comma Waves, K Groves, which give you the key to A Castle, then O Snows, L Night (study Zoroark) and M Cave (study the Unown).
  4. The end: Circumflex Park, Dollar Lake, Ù Power Plant and Exclamation Mark Evening (study Cobalion), then the Function Tower, which requires the Keyboard Artist title, the Left Dimension, the Upper Paradise, the Lower Depths and the Right Temple.

The courses on the number row open according to the number of Pokémon studied, from 50 to 320. After the credits, new courses appear, such as the Square Lagoon or the Backspace Cavern. The details are on our course pages.

Home

“Home”, the Home key, gathers your research notes, a Pokédex sorted alphabetically (in the French order), from Venomoth (001) to Zorua (404), and the typist card, with your title, accuracy, keystrokes per minute and medals.
