In Pokémon Quest, progression depends less on levels than on Power Stones. Each Pokémon carries a Power Tray where you place stones: some increase its HP or attack, while others change its moves. Here are all the types of stones, their power, their rarity and their bonus effects.
Types of Power Stones
| Stone | Placed on | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| HP Stone | The Pokémon | Adds HP. |
| Attack Stone | The Pokémon | Adds attack power. |
| Multi-Shot Stone | A move | Adds projectiles, but lowers power. |
| Expansion Stone | A move | Widens the area of effect. |
| Echo Stone | A move | Repeats the move several times, but lengthens the recharge time. |
| Haste Stone | A move | Shortens the recharge time. |
| Prolong Stone | A move | Extends the Pokémon’s bonuses and the debuffs it inflicts. |
| Unison Stone | A move | Widens the area where bonuses are shared with the team. |
Move stones are obtained by completing worlds: Haste in Hushed Highlands, Multi-Shot in Fragrant Forest, Expansion in Belly Button Cave, Prolong on the World 8 plateau, Unison in Nightlight Nook and Echo on the World 10 coast. They were also sold for €2.99 each on the eShop.
Stone power
The further along the zone where a HP or Attack Stone is obtained, the stronger it is. Its shape shows this:
| Shape | Obtained in |
|---|---|
| Square | Worlds 1 and 2 |
| Double square | Worlds 2 and 3 |
| Hexagon | Worlds 4 to 6 |
| Double hexagon | Worlds 7 to 10 |
| Octagon | Worlds 8 to 10 |
| Double octagon | World 12, Happenstance Island |
Rarity and bonus effects
A stone can be standard, bronze, silver or gold. Rarity does not increase its power, but adds one to three random effects, expressed as percentages:
- critical hit chance and damage;
- automatic HP recovery, HP recovered after taking damage or after a KO;
- revival time and HP after revival;
- resistance to debuffs and status conditions;
- movement speed.
The Power Tray
A Pokémon’s Power Tray has slots arranged in a grid. Some Pokémon have more slots than others, and their layout varies: this is an important factor when choosing which Pokémon to train. Completing certain lines on the tray triggers bonuses called “Bingos”, which secondary objectives reward.
