November’s lineup is taking shape in Pokémon GO. Niantic has detailed this month’s GO Pass, active from Tuesday, November 3 to Tuesday, December 1. The free version promises an encounter with
Groudon and 400 PokéCoins. The Deluxe version raises that total to 1,400 PokéCoins and adds several bonuses.
Dates, prices and how it works
The November GO Pass will be automatically granted to all players on Tuesday, November 3 at 10 AM local time. By completing Pass tasks, you earn GO Points that raise your rank and unlock rewards, until Tuesday, December 1 at 10 AM. You will then need to claim your rewards before Thursday, December 3 at 10 AM, when they expire.
- GO Pass: free, granted automatically;
- GO Pass Deluxe: $7.99 (or the equivalent in local currency), with the rewards from both tracks;
- GO Pass Deluxe + 10 ranks: $9.99, with the GO Points needed to reach rank 11 right away;
- weekend of November 28 and 29: no daily limit on GO Points, from Saturday at midnight to Sunday at 11:59 PM.
You can upgrade to the Deluxe version at any time during the month: rewards for the ranks you have already reached are then unlocked retroactively. Niantic notes that the availability of the GO Pass Deluxe may vary by region.

Groudon and 1,400 PokéCoins up for grabs
The headline reward is an encounter with Groudon, the legendary Pokémon of Hoenn. According to Niantic, it could even be Shiny if luck is on your side. Here is what each version offers:
- Free GO Pass: an encounter with Groudon, 400 PokéCoins, a Lucky Egg, Rare Candy XL, Stardust and other surprises;
- in addition with the GO Pass Deluxe: 1,000 extra PokéCoins (1,400 in total), a Super Incubator, encounters with other Pokémon and other surprises.
Niantic has not yet specified at which rank each reward unlocks, nor which additional Pokémon will be offered in the Deluxe version.

Major Milestone bonuses
As in previous months, certain rank milestones activate permanent bonuses until the end of the Pass:
- Milestone 1 (rank 1): one extra Candy when trading Pokémon, and a guaranteed Rare Candy XL for players level 31 and above;
- Milestone 2 (rank 25): up to 40 Gifts opened per day, 125 received by spinning Photo Discs and 10 more slots in the Item Bag. With the Deluxe version, these caps rise to 50 Gifts opened, 150 received and 20 extra slots;
- Milestone 3 (rank 50): daily Adventure Incense duration doubled;
- Milestone 4 (rank 75): more XP and Stardust when hatching Eggs.
Bonuses when going through the Web Store
The GO Pass Deluxe is also sold on the Pokémon GO Web Store, with bonus items thrown in. Three bundles are offered, each of which can be purchased only once:
- GO Pass Deluxe: November: 10 Ultra Balls, 5 Max Revives, 1 premium battle pass and 5 Max Potions;
- GO Pass Deluxe: November + 10 ranks: 10 Ultra Balls, 5 Max Revives, 2 premium battle passes and 5 Max Potions;
- Ultra Box GO Pass Deluxe: November (exclusive to the Web Store): 20 Ultra Balls, 10 Max Revives, 5 premium battle passes and 10 Max Potions.

A Web Store purchase activates at the same time as the regular GO Pass, on November 3.
Key takeaways
With Groudon and 400 PokéCoins without spending a cent, the November GO Pass is worth following for every player. The Deluxe version will mostly appeal to those planning to play regularly during a busy month, between the raids of Giratina, Cresselia, Darkrai and Deoxys and the global Wild Areas GO on November 14 and 15.
