Niantic and The Pokémon Company have just made official a big Max Battle Day scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local time). For the very first time since the Max mechanic was introduced, the legendary trio of Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf will appear simultaneously in Dynamax form atop level 5 Power Spots.

The Sinnoh trio challenges Trainers at level 5

Renowned for their protective role in Sinnoh’s myths, Uxie (Knowledge), Mesprit (Emotion) and Azelf (Willpower) pose a serious challenge for groups. Each of these Psychic-type legendaries will have colossal battle stats under their Dynamax gigantism. Trainers will need to pool their efforts and line up Bug-, Ghost- and Dark-type attackers with boosted Max Moves to overcome these timed battles.

Eight free Max Particles packs and major bonuses

Aware of the energy investment required to chain several level 5 battles, Niantic is rolling out a series of exceptional accommodations, active on Saturday, October 24 from midnight to 5:00 p.m. (local time):

  • 8 free Max Particles refills: Available by interacting with Power Spots throughout the day.
  • Doubled Max Particles cap: The daily collection limit is temporarily raised so you can store more energy.
  • Local gatherings on the map: In-person events organized by Community Ambassadors will be pinned and filterable directly on the game’s interactive map, with simplified check-in starting 15 minutes before the start.
  • Optional Timed Research ticket: Offered at $4.99 USD (about €5.49), it grants extra XP, XL Candy and a guaranteed encounter with each member of the trio. A Hyper Ticket Box including 800 Max Particles will also go on sale on the official Web Store.
