Pokémon France followed Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl from their announcement in February 2021 to the final events of 2022. This page presents and links our articles from the time: capture guides, walkthrough, updates and distributions.
From announcement to release (2021)
The remakes were announced on February 26, 2021, during the twenty-fifth anniversary Pokémon Presents, alongside Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The release on November 19, 2021 marked the return of Sinnoh fifteen years after Diamond and Pearl.
The winter of the legendaries
From December 2021, the section filled up with capture guides, published almost every day: Dialga and Palkia, Heatran, Giratina and the Griseous Orb, the lake guardians, the legendary birds and beasts, the golems, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Cresselia, then the Mythical Mew and Jirachi and Manaphy. The Legendaries and Mythical Pokémon page brings them all together.
The January 2022 walkthrough
In January 2022, the walkthrough was published in nine steps, from the first badge to the victory over Cynthia; it is laid out in our walkthrough index. Very popular practical guides followed: getting Riolu, evolving Roselia, finding Feebas and what to do after the League.
Updates and distributions (2022)
We covered updates 1.1.3, which fixed the duplication bugs, and 1.2.0, then the Oak’s Letter offering Shaymin and the arrival of Arceus and Darkrai with update 1.3.0.
