Box art, logo, bundle, amiibo, fighters and stages: the Pokkén Tournament gallery on Wii U, based on the official visuals collected by Poképédia. The fighters appear in their highly detailed in-game models, which the Switch version reused. The amiibo card and the console bundle recall the 2016 launch, accompanied in Japan by a dedicated controller made by HORI.

The fighters

Sixteen fighters make up the Wii U version’s roster, including Pikachu Libre, added for the console release, and Shadow Mewtwo, at the heart of the story.

The stages

Nineteen stages, all located in the Ferrum region, from stadiums to natural settings and the mysterious places of Shadow Mewtwo’s story. Eight are available from the start, and the others are unlocked in the Ferrum League, such as the Regi Ruins, the Blue Dome and the Black Coliseum, where the story’s big battles take place.
