Alola! The Pokémon GO Tour, the mobile game’s big annual event, will make a stop in the region of Rowlet, Litten and Popplio in February 2027. Scopely has revealed the dates and cities of this new Tour, with two in-person events in Kaohsiung and Los Angeles, followed by a global weekend open to all players, in France and everywhere else.

Kaohsiung and Los Angeles Headline the Event

Announced overnight between September 23 and 24, this 2027 edition will celebrate Alola, the region of Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon. The celebration will begin with two in-person events held the same weekend, followed by a global finale playable from anywhere.

  • Kaohsiung (Taiwan): Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21, 2027
  • Los Angeles (California, United States): Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21, 2027
  • Global event: Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28, 2027
  • Tickets: available starting next season, along with details of the content

What About French Trainers?

No European stop is planned for the in-person events. The global weekend of February 27 and 28 will therefore be the one that concerns the vast majority of French players. According to Scopely, it will let everyone take part in the grand finale of the year’s Tour, via an in-game ticket whose price has not yet been announced.

As for the rest, the program remains secret: neither the featured Pokémon nor the bonuses have been revealed for now. Scopely promises more information at the same time as ticket sales open, during the game’s following season.

The World Tour of Regions Continues

Since its creation, the Pokémon GO Tour has celebrated one region of the main games each year, in chronological order: after Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos, it is logically Alola’s turn, the seventh stop on this journey. A good share of Alola’s Pokémon have been in Pokémon GO since the 2022 Alola season, which leaves room for newcomers, brand-new forms and highly anticipated Shiny Pokémon.

Key takeaways

The 2027 Pokémon GO Tour will take place from February 19 to 21 in Kaohsiung and Los Angeles, then worldwide on February 27 and 28. There are almost five months left to save up Stardust and Raid Passes while waiting for the full program and the opening of ticket sales.
