Halloween won’t stop on October 31 in Pokémon GO. Niantic has detailed the second part of its event, from Sunday, November 1 to Thursday, November 5, and it holds two great surprises: the debut of shiny
Greavard and a
Mega Sableye that finally reaches the Super Max Mega Level, with a Charged Attack as a bonus.
Shiny Greavard and costumed Pokémon
After the first part, launched on October 27 with costumed
Pikachu,
Zubat and
Sinistea (our article), the rest of the event changes its star. The little ghost dog of Paldea, Greavard, can now appear in its shiny form, whether in the wild or as a reward for certain GO Pass and Timed Research tasks.
- Dates: from Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 10 AM to Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 8 PM (local time)
- In the wild:
Litwick,
Rowlet dressed up for Halloween, Greavard and
Gengar in a Spooky Festival outfit - 1-star Raids: Pikachu with a hat and cape, Sinistea with its bow, both shiny-capable with a lucky draw
- Field Research: themed tasks that let you encounter the event’s Pokémon
Mega Sableye reaches the Super Max Mega Level
This is the most interesting novelty for regular players. For the first time, Mega Sableye can reach the Super Max Mega Level, the tier introduced this year above the Max Mega Level. It thus joins
Mega Victreebel and
Mega Malamar, the first ones affected during the Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos, followed by
Mega Beedrill and
Mega Houndoom, unlocked in September.
- Requirement: first reach the Max Mega Level, then spend Sableye Mega Energy to cross the threshold
- Bonus: an additional Charged Attack in its Mega Evolved form, Night Shade+
- Night Shade+ power: 55 in Trainer Battles, 160 in Raid Battles, and it increases with the Mega Level
If you have a Sableye that has already climbed high in Mega Level, now is the time to set its Mega Energy aside.
GO Pass: Halloween 2026 and bonuses
The GO Pass: Halloween 2026, automatically granted from October 27 at 10 AM, runs until November 5 at 8 PM. Its rewards must be claimed before Saturday, November 7 at 8 PM (local time). Two tiers of bonuses unlock as you progress:
- Rank 10: ×2 Candy per catch (×3 with the Deluxe GO Pass)
- Rank 20: ×2 Stardust per catch (×3 with the Deluxe GO Pass)
- Free version: encounters with the event’s Pokémon, Candy, Rare Candy and Ultra Balls
- Deluxe GO Pass ($7.99): extra encounters, a pastry chef top and pants for your avatar, Rare Candy XL and premium battle passes
- Deluxe GO Pass + 10 ranks ($9.99): the same benefits, with the GO Points needed to jump straight to rank 11

Prices are announced in US dollars: the euro equivalent will be displayed in the in-game shop. The Deluxe GO Pass can be purchased at any time during the event and retroactively unlocks the rewards for the ranks you have already reached. The web store also offers bundles with Ultra Balls, Max Revives, Max Potions and premium battle passes.
Key takeaways
From November 1 to 5, Pokémon GO extends Halloween with shiny Greavard, costumed Pokémon in raids and a Mega Sableye stronger than ever. Shiny hunters will have plenty to do, and raid players get a new Dark and Ghost asset. Will you go hunting for shiny Greavard?
