The story in brief

A human dreams that a Munna is being chased, then finds themselves turned into a Pokémon and dropped from the sky into the Pokémon world. There they meet their partner, who dreams of building a paradise for Pokémon: Pokémon Paradise. After buying a plot of land from Quagsire and having their house built in Post Town, the two friends found their team and take on mission after mission. The adventure leads them to the Great Glacier, where an object, the Bittercold, feeds on the negativity of Pokémon and threatens to destroy the world. Kyurem, its protector, and Munna first try to stop the hero, before Hydreigon reveals why they were called.

Quagsire.

How a mission works

  • The mission board, set up by Quagsire at Pokémon Paradise, offers requests for help. You accept one, then head to the dungeon indicated.
  • Dungeons are explored square by square, floor by floor, with enemy Pokémon acting on every step. Some floors are outdoors, where Pokémon move in real time.
  • Bosses wait on the last floor of many story dungeons.

The mechanics are detailed in Getting started. Legendaries and bosses have their own page: Legendary Pokémon and Bosses.
