Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia is the second entry in the Pokémon Ranger series, released in France on 21 November 2008 for the Nintendo DS. Developed by Creatures and HAL Laboratory, it sends Kellyn or Kate, a student at the Ranger School, to the Almia region to face Team Dim Sun. You still capture Pokémon with the stylus, but now you choose your partner, and sixty-one side quests upgrade the Capture Styler.
The game was also released on the Wii U Virtual Console in 2016.
