Pokémon Ranger is an action-adventure game released in France on 13 April 2007 on Nintendo DS. Developed by Creatures Inc. and HAL Laboratory, it launched a series of three games in which you don’t train Pokémon: you help them. Lunick or Solana, a new Ranger from the Fiore region, captures Pokémon with the stylus by drawing loops with the Capture Styler, teams up with them to get past obstacles and takes on the Go-Rock Squad.
The game also came out on the Wii U Virtual Console in 2016. Our review at the time gave it 14 out of 20: Pokémon Ranger review.
