In Pokémon Winds and Waves, you play a hero or heroine whose outfit changes depending on the version. For now, they are the only human characters revealed.
The hero and the heroine
The hero has brown hair and a big smile. He wears an orange-yellow T-shirt over a black long-sleeved top, navy blue shorts, black tights and white sneakers with orange soles.
The heroine has black hair in a bob. She wears a pink T-shirt with a flower pattern over a black long-sleeved top, green cargo shorts, black tights and white and pink sneakers.

The clothes themselves do not change: only the accessories take on the version’s colors, white and sky blue for the wind, deep blue for the sea.
A mysterious piece of gear
Both characters wear, attached to their bag, a large, flat, elongated object decorated with circular emblems. Nothing has been said about its role.
The characters still to come
As in every generation, we are still waiting for the region’s Pokémon Professor, who hands over the starter, one or more rivals, the Gym Leaders or their equivalents, a villainous team and the Champion. None has been shown.

What is the outfit difference between Winds and Waves?
In Winds, the character wears a white and light blue bucket hat; in Waves, a blue cap. The backpack and gloves change color too.
