Pokémon Rumble Rush only offered one island at a time. Every two or three weeks, a new sea replaced the previous one, with its own Pokémon, Super Bosses and gears. Here is the list of islands, from the Charizard Sea at launch to the Greninja Sea in spring 2020, based on Serebii’s records and our news coverage.
How the islands worked
- Each island was named after a Pokémon, and its shape sometimes evoked an object or a Pokémon: the Charizard Sea looked like three Poké Balls, and the Pinsir Sea like an upside-down Inkay.
- With each change, you started again from zero: the Pokémon you had caught could no longer be used in the adventure, and you began anew with an Eevee. Gears, however, were kept.
- The best players on each island received Poké Diamonds based on the CP of their three best Pokémon.
