Called Mega Evolution Battles, it runs from Friday, November 13 at 3 a.m. to Monday, November 16, 2026 at 2:59 a.m. (Paris time), in Doubles Battles. There is just one condition to take part: you may only field Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, including the stars of Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Dates and registration

  • Registration: from Friday, November 6 at 3 a.m. to Monday, November 16 at 2:59 a.m., via “Battle” then “Online Competitions”;

A 100% Mega ruleset

Only Pokémon from Pokémon Champions that can Mega Evolve are allowed, provided they hold their Mega Stone. Each battle is played with 4 Pokémon, and Mega Evolution can only be used once per match. Two Pokémon on the same team cannot hold the same item.

  • total time: 20 minutes per battle (when time runs out, the number of remaining Pokémon and then their HP decide the winner);
  • individual time: 7 minutes;
  • choosing an action: 45 seconds;
  • selecting Pokémon: 90 seconds;
  • a minimum of 3 battles to be ranked, with a maximum of 15 battles per day and 45 over the whole competition.
