Voluca is the island of volcanoes: Sweltering Sands and its oasis, Fireflow Volcano and its blue magma chambers, and the Barren Badlands, added by the update. Here, course by course, are the Pokémon to photograph at each research level, along with every request, based on Serebii. The game has 43 requests on this island.

At level 3, throw lots of Fluffruit at the Diglett to your left; further on, an Illumina Orb and another Fluffruit: photograph them playing ball.
On the side path, Tepig hesitates at the edge of a ledge: use the Scan, then again near the end, so that it takes a run-up and jumps between two cliffs.
Coax Salazzle out from behind a rock: a Fluffruit for Mandibuzz, then the Melody; after its dance, it strikes a pose.
A giant Koffing: at level 3, lure it toward the Crystabloom and throw an Illumina Orb at it.

On the side path, wake Rockruff when Mandibuzz arrives, then throw an Illumina Orb at it: it fights back.
Wake Tyranitar from a distance with a Fluffruit, without it seeing you: it flips Crustle over with a swing of its tail.
Make Sandshrew roll with an Illumina Orb, wake the Diglett in its path, follow them to the swamp, where Sandshrew wakes Scolipede; throw a Fluffruit at Gliscor: after the Minior pass by, it takes on Scolipede.
Illumina Orbs on the two Vivillon on the left, then take the side path, speeding up to the geyser; a Fluffruit sends Gliscor onto the left platform, an Illumina Orb on the last Vivillon wakes those on the wall, whose Sleep Powder makes Gliscor yawn.
At level 2, wake Zeraora with a Fluffruit and let it run toward the cliffs; then wake Tyranitar from a distance: a sandstorm rises and Zeraora lights up to stop it.
Illumina Orbs on the three Vivillon moving away, then an Illumina Orb and a photo of at least five Diglett, and activate the Crystabloom on the side path; in the valley, another Crystabloom brings out more Vivillon: take a group photo.
