The final part of our Explorers of Sky walkthrough: the return to the present, the reunion with the guild, Brine Cave, the Hidden Land and the final climb of the Temporal Tower. This page reveals the ending of the main story.
Chapter 16: A New Dawn
The hero, the partner and Grovyle wake up on the beach, in the present. They meet in secret at Sharpedo Bluff, at the other end of town.
- Dungeon: Treeshroud Forest, up to its Time Gear.
- At the end: putting the Gear back is not enough. Grovyle explains that the Temporal Tower, in the Hidden Land, is collapsing; nobody knows where this land is.
Chapter 17: The Guild Members
The duo returns to the guild and tells everything. Chatot struggles to believe that Dusknoir deceived them, until Sunflora confirms having seen them dragged into the hole. The guild stands behind the duo. Wigglytuff suggests questioning Torkoal, who remembers seeing on the Relic Fragment a symbol identical to the one Wigglytuff glimpsed in Brine Cave. Team Skull, meanwhile, keeps up its mischief.
Chapter 18: Lapras
Accompanied by Chatot, the hero and the partner head for Brine Cave. On the way, Team Skull steals the Relic Fragment.
- Dungeon: Brine Cave.
- Boss: Kabutops and two Omastar, Rock and Water types. Grass attacks are doubly effective; so are Electric, Fighting and Ground attacks.
Deep inside, the Fragment’s symbol lights up. A rift opens and Lapras appears to carry the trio to the Hidden Land.
Chapter 19: To the Hidden Land
Lapras explains that the Temporal Tower is reached by the Rainbow Stoneship, in a ruined temple. The Relic Fragment is its missing piece.
- Dungeon: Hidden Land, then the temple ruins.
- Boss: Dusknoir and his Sableye. Dusknoir is a Ghost type: Ghost and Dark attacks hit him hard. Take out the Sableye first if you are surrounded.
Defeated, Dusknoir reveals that changing the course of time will make the hero and Grovyle disappear. Grovyle makes a courageous choice, and the duo continues alone.
Chapter 20: The Ultimate Adventure
The Rainbow Stoneship carries the duo to the Temporal Tower, which is gradually collapsing.
- Dungeon: Temporal Tower (13 floors), then Temporal Spire (10 floors), up to the Temporal Pinnacle. A Kangaskhan Statue lets you save between the two parts.
- Final boss: Primal Dialga, a Steel and Dragon type. It only fears Fighting and Ground attacks. Use your best attacks, keep Oran Berries and Elixirs on hand, and do not let the partner get knocked out: the game would be lost.
After the battle, the partner manages to put the five Time Gears back. Dialga returns to its normal state. But the hero, who came from the future, begins to disappear… Stay until the end of the credits: the final scene holds a surprise.
And then?
The story continues after the credits: guild graduation, new dungeons, Darkrai and the legendary Pokémon. It’s all on our After the end of the story page. Back to the third part.
