Missions are the heart of a rescue team’s daily life. They earn money, items, Friend Areas and Rescue Points, which raise the team’s rank. Here are the mission types, their difficulty ranks and the table of team ranks.
Where to find missions
- The mailbox at your base, which Pelipper fills with up to four missions.
- The Pelipper Post Office board, which displays up to eight missions.
- Wonder Mail, codes that generate a specific mission. The same code always gives the same mission, so you can share them.
A mission is only active if you tick it in your list. Several missions can be completed in the same visit to a dungeon.
Mission types
- Rescue a Pokémon on a given floor: just reach it and talk to it.
- Deliver an item to a Pokémon on a given floor.
- Retrieve an item from a dungeon: just enter with the item in your bag and come back out. An Escape Orb saves time.
- Escort a Pokémon to another one: the trickiest missions, since the client is often a low level.
Difficulty ranks
| Rank | Rescue Points |
|---|---|
| E | 5 |
| D | 10 to 20 |
| C | 40 to 60 |
| B | 80 to 100 |
| A | 150 to 200 |
| S | 300 to 700 |
| ★ | 700 to 2,000 |
For the same mission type, a higher rank means a deeper floor or a more dangerous dungeon. Rewards also become rarer.
Team ranks
| Rank | Points needed |
|---|---|
| Normal | Starting rank |
| Bronze | 50 |
| Silver | 500 |
| Gold | 1,500 |
| Platinum | 3,000 |
| Diamond | 7,500 |
| Lucario | 15,000 |
Ranks are not required to finish the story. The highest rank, Lucario, earns a statue of Lucario in front of your base.
