Pokémon France has followed Pokémon Mystery Dungeon since 2005, back when the game was still called Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon in our pages. Our original guide, written from the Japanese version, is still online. This page introduces it and links to it.

The 2005 review

Our review of the Japanese version presented the concept, the story and the battles, and gave it 17 out of 20. It remains a record of discovering the game, before its release in Europe.

The original guide

Our 2006 guide often uses provisional names, translated before the French release, such as “Little Woods” for Tiny Woods or “Steel Mountain” for Mt. Steel. Its data is still useful:

Two pages from this guide have also been carried over into our current section: the Friend Areas and the guide’s table of contents.

The re-releases

In February 2016, we announced the arrival of the first Mystery Dungeon games on Wii U, at €9.99 for Blue and €6.99 for Red.
