Victory Points, or VP, are the main currency of Pokémon Champions. They are used for almost everything: recruiting, training, buying items or outfits. They cannot be bought with real money, so managing them well is the first skill to master.

Training a Pokémon Completely

Distributing the 66 stat points costs about 132 VP, changing all four moves 400 VP, the stat alignment 200 VP and the ability 400 VP. A Pokémon that is recruited and then fully reworked therefore comes to a little over 3,500 VP in total, recruitment included.

That is why tickets are so valuable: a Training Ticket brings the cost of training down to zero.

Training shows the total cost in VP before you confirm.

Our Spending Priorities

  1. The key Pokémon of your team: recruit and train the ones you will definitely play first.
  2. Essential items: Focus Sash, Choice Scarf, Leftovers and Sitrus Berry are given from the start; then buy Life Orb, Rocky Helmet or Expert Belt depending on your team.
  3. A Mega Stone for your main Mega Evolution, if you do not get it another way.
  4. Everything else: outfits, new selections at the Ranch, reserve Pokémon.
