The second part of our Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs walkthrough: Mitonga Island and the old mansion in Chicole Village, the encounter with Entei, the climb up the Faldera Volcano, then Sophian Island, Suicune and Mount Sorberus. At the end, Red Eye is defeated.
Mitonga Island and the old mansion
Arriving in Chicole Village, on Mitonga Island, you meet up with Sven, head of public relations for the Ranger Union, and make the acquaintance of Hocus, a magician, and Edward, a doctor. Rumor has it that the old mansion in Chicole Village holds a book coveted by the Pokémon Pinchers. There you find Blue Eye and her henchmen, take her prisoner and recover the book, “Legends of the Oblivia Region”.
The Dawn Ruins and Entei
Red Eye proposes an exchange: Blue Eye for the book. The meeting takes place at the Dawn Ruins, where Entei appears: you have to calm it down. Red Eye then arrives, the exchange takes place, and the Pokémon Pinchers leave.
The Faldera Volcano and Moltres
You learn that Red Eye wants to capture Moltres, asleep at the summit of the Faldera Volcano. On Faldera Island, the Pokémon Pinchers are numerous: you have to climb the volcano to the summit. Too late: Red Eye wakes Moltres and subdues it with his Control Glove, before leaving for Sophian Island to seize Articuno.
Sophian Island and Suicune
- Balnéaria: the seaside resort is buzzing with rumors about Suicune, spotted in the Canal Ruins, where henchmen are already searching for it.
- The Underground Lake: by following the henchmen, you find a stele bearing Suicune’s emblem.
- Suicune: back on the surface, you have to calm it down; you then discover its sign.
- The Tea Party: in Balnéaria, you run into a group of old friends, the Tea Party, who are still hiding their intentions.
Mount Sorberus
You pursue Red Eye to the summit of Mount Sorberus. He has already awakened Articuno there, and it flees. A showdown with Red Eye follows: defeated, he admits his loss and announces that he is leaving the Pokémon Pinchers.
Tips for this part
- Entei and Suicune are tougher than Raikou: recharge your Capture Styler and bring a varied team of Pokémon before facing them.
- The Faldera Volcano is long: take the time to capture Water-type Pokémon along the way for their Poké Assists.
Next: part 3, the Flying Fortress.
