Pokémon Colosseum is the first 3D Pokémon role-playing game on a home console, released in France on May 14, 2004 on GameCube. In the desert region of Orre, Wes, a former member of Team Snagem, and Rui, who can see the aura of Shadow Pokémon, take on Team Cipher to free the Pokémon whose hearts it has closed. There are no wild Pokémon here: each of the 48 Shadow Pokémon has to be snagged from an enemy Trainer, then purified.
