The Little Cup in Pokémon Stadium 2 is all about baby Pokémon: only Pokémon that hatched from an Egg, can still evolve and are level 5 at most. There is a single division and eight battles, with three Pokémon picked from six. Here are the rules and the teams of all sixteen opponents, for rounds 1 and 2.
A battle in the Stadium of Pokémon Stadium 2. The rules
Pokémon of level 5 at most, hatched from an Egg and able to evolve.
No duplicate Pokémon, no duplicate items.
Sleep and Freeze Clauses: no more than two Pokémon asleep or frozen at the same time.
Banned moves: Dragon Rage and Sonic Boom, which deal fixed damage.
A “continue” is awarded if you beat an opponent without losing a Pokémon.
ℹ️ Reading the tables
The teams come from Serebii’s records, with official English names. Items that are specific to Generation II, marked with an asterisk, are listed under their modern equivalent: the Berry becomes the Oran Berry, the Gold Berry the Sitrus Berry, the Miracle Berry the Lum Berry, and so on. In the Castle, opponents are level 50 or the level of your strongest Pokémon.
