The Gym Leader Castle in Pokémon Stadium 2 lets you take on the Gym Leaders of Gold, Silver and Crystal, then the Elite Four and the Champion. Unlike the first Stadium, the number of trainers varies from one Gym to the next, and an interlude against Team Rocket comes before the Mahogany Town Gym. Here are all the Johto teams, rounds 1 and 2.
The Gym Leader Castle. The Rules
Pokémon from Lv. 1 to 100; opponents are Lv. 50 or at the level of your strongest Pokémon.
No duplicate Pokémon or items; Sleep, Freeze and Self-Destruct Clauses apply.
Beating a Gym unlocks the next one and makes it available in Free Battle.
ℹ️ Reading the Tables
The teams come from Serebii’s records. Items specific to the second generation, marked with an asterisk, are listed under their modern equivalent: the Berry becomes the Oran Berry, the Gold Berry the Sitrus Berry, the Miracle Berry the Lum Berry, and so on. In the Castle, opponents are Lv. 50 or at the level of your strongest Pokémon.
