LEGO Pokémon: great deals of up to −40% on Amazon, Eevee at €35.99 – grab it fast

Good news for collectors: Amazon is slashing prices on LEGO Pokémon sets, by up to −40%. The best deal is Eevee (72151), which drops to €35.99 instead of €59.99. Nine sets are on sale, from large display models for adults to interactive SMART Play sets for younger fans. These prices can go back up at any time, so it is best not to wait too long.

Eevee at −40%: the deal not to miss

This is the biggest discount in the selection, and one of the cutest sets in the LEGO Pokémon range. At €35.99, you save €24 off the recommended price of €59.99. Designed for adults, this 587-piece model stands more than 19 cm tall. Its head, ears, legs and tail are all posable, so you can give it all sorts of poses on a shelf.

A little extra that fans will love: the set hides a surprise linked to Eevee’s evolutions. At this price, it also makes an excellent gift idea to slip under the tree a few weeks early.

The big display models: save up to €76

In terms of value, the Pikachu and Poké Ball set (72152) saves you the most: €76.20 less than the recommended price, or −38%. This spectacular 2,050-piece model stands about 35 cm tall: Pikachu can be displayed bursting out of an open Poké Ball, ready for battle, or resting.

Another great piece for a display case, Arcanine (72160) drops below the €80 mark. Fully posable, it recreates its mane and stripes across nearly 29 cm in length, with 1,190 pieces.

Finally, the centrepiece of the range, the Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball set (72154), gets a more modest but welcome discount: €36.54 off. It has more than 2,300 pieces, a Poké Ball that opens to reveal Professor Oak’s lab and a battle scene, minifigures of Red, Professor Oak and a Picnicker, and figures of Pikachu and Eevee.

SMART Play: interactive sets for younger fans

Launched this summer, the SMART Play range is built around the SMART Brick: packed with sensors, it reacts to play with lights, sounds and movements, with no screen. Mind the detail that matters before you buy: only the all-in-one sets include a SMART Brick and its charger. The others are compatible sets: they come with SMART tags but no brick, so they are meant to be used alongside an all-in-one set.

The best starting point is therefore Pikachu’s training hut (72164), an all-in-one set at −30% that drops below €50.

This second all-in-one set pits Charizard against Jolteon. The discount is small, but its two SMART Bricks make it the most complete for playing with others. Among the compatible sets, the escape from the lab of Mewtwo (72163) is the most interesting, at −21%.

On a small budget, two compatible sets drop below €25: the buggy of Squirtle (72156) and the cave battle between Charmander and Geodude (72157), the cheapest in the selection.
