Tenth and last chapter of the main story: Route 10, Wyndon and the Champion Cup, the Rose Tower, the Darkest Day unleashed by Chairman Rose, the capture of Eternatus and the Final Match against Leon.
Route 10
A mountain road swept by snow links Hammerlocke to Wyndon. You meet Galarian Mr. Mime, Cubchoo, Snover and Glalie here; among the hidden Pokémon are Vanillish, Abomasnow, Beartic and Rhydon. Duraludon appears very rarely in the tall grass. Items: TM98 in an area reachable from the descent toward Wyndon, a Power Herb behind the sign, a Comet Shard to the right of the path.
Wyndon
Designed by Macro Cosmos, Wyndon is the biggest city in Galar, inspired by London. There you find the Ultimate Move Tutor and, later, the Battle Tower. A League staff member, in the eighth house along the east lane, gives you the Rotom Catalog after a battle. An in-game trade, in the sixth house east of the Pokémon Center, offers a Duraludon in exchange for a Frosmoth.
The Medalist Tournament
With eight badges, you qualify for the Champion Cup. The first part, the Medalist Tournament, pits the challengers against each other.
| Round | Opponent | Pokémon |
|---|---|---|
| Semifinal | Marnie | Liepard Lv. 47, Toxicroak Lv. 47, Scrafty Lv. 47, Morpeko Lv. 48, Grimmsnarl Lv. 49 (Gigantamax) |
| Final | Hop | Dubwool Lv. 48, Corviknight Lv. 48, Pincurchin Lv. 47, Snorlax Lv. 47, his final starter Pokémon Lv. 49 |
The Rose Tower
That evening, Leon is supposed to celebrate your victory at the restaurant but doesn’t show up: he is at the Rose Tower, the Macro Cosmos headquarters, for a meeting with the chairman. With Hop, Marnie and Peony, you decide to go. Oleana has entrusted the monorail key, the only access to the tower, to a League staff member; with the help of Team Yell, you find it. In the tower, employees try to stop you, then Oleana battles you.
| Opponent | Pokémon | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Oleana | Froslass Lv. 50, Tsareena Lv. 50, Salazzle Lv. 50, Milotic Lv. 51, Garbodor Lv. 52 | 7,280 Poké Dollars |
You interrupt the meeting between Rose and Leon, without getting a clear answer.
The Champion Cup
The next day, before the tournament begins, Bede bursts into the middle of the stadium: now under Opal’s protection, he asks to battle you to prove he deserves to become the Ballonlea Gym Leader.

| Final | Raihan | Torkoal Lv. 53, Goodra Lv. 54, Turtonator Lv. 54, Flygon Lv. 54, Duraludon Lv. 55 (Gigantamax) |
Unlike the Gym battle, the final against Raihan is played as a single battle.
The Darkest Day
Just as the Final Match is about to begin, Chairman Rose interrupts the broadcast: he has awakened the Darkest Day above Hammerlocke Stadium to solve, he says, the energy crisis that Galar will face in a thousand years. Leon sets off to stop him. Sonia gives you three Max Revives.
With Hop, you go back to the altar in the Slumbering Weald, where you retrieve the Rusted Sword and the Rusted Shield of the heroes of legend. Then it’s off to Hammerlocke: in the stadium, Oleana asks you to go down to the reactor room to reason with the chairman.
| Opponent | Pokémon | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Rose | Escavalier Lv. 55, Ferrothorn Lv. 55, Perrserker Lv. 55, Klinklang Lv. 56, Copperajah Lv. 57 (Gigantamax) | 11,140 Poké Dollars |
Eternatus
At the top of the stadium tower, you face Eternatus, level 60, a Poison/Dragon type, which cannot be caught yet. It then takes its Eternamax form, the most powerful ever seen in the series. The battle turns into a raid: Hop, Zacian and Zamazenta fight at your side. Once Eternamax Eternatus is defeated, you can catch it.
The Final Match against Leon
With Galar saved, the Final Match finally takes place at Wyndon Stadium. Leon fields four fixed Pokémon and two that depend on your starter Pokémon: he keeps the one that has the advantage over yours.
