Getting ready for the end of the game: back to the Under

As planned, go to the Under, to the KID Network hideout. NETT explains that a tower has been opened where the construction site was. There, there are Shadow Pokémon and a Colosseum at the top… Naturally, it’s Team Cipher’s hideout, REALGAM TOWER.

But before you go there, you really need to train! Don’t forget that there you’ll be able to catch Suicune, Raikou, Entei and Sudowoodo again, along with Shadow Pokémon at level 55, and that the average level in the Colosseum at the top of Realgam Tower is 50… seriously, think about taking all SIX of your Pokémon to Mt. Battle to train them!

Sudowoodo.

Training at Mt. Battle

You’ve already had the chance to visit Mt. Battle.
Now we’re going to talk about the real Mt. Battle, that is, the ONE HUNDRED TRAINERS.

Once you’ve finished Mt. Battle, you’re fully ready to storm Realgam Tower! Let’s go!!!

Ah, before anything else: go back to the gas station and buy Ultra Balls … lots and lots and lots… to be sure you don’t miss anything! 😉

The entrance to Mt. Battle

Realgam Tower

When you arrive at Realgam Tower, 3 doors are open to you … we’ll take them “in order”. 🙂

Left door:

You come face to face with Miror B., who battles you again …
If you didn’t get his Sudowoodo, now’s the time!

Miror B., The Return – Golduck [45] – Loudred [46] – Ludicolo [44] – Ludicolo [45] – Armaldo [43] – Sudowoodo (40) (S) again $4,600

You obtain the RED BALL.

The second Admin you beat in the game was Dakim, so let’s pay him a little visit! 🙂

Right door:

Cipher Admin Dakim – Forretress 45 – Claydol 45 – Whiscash 46 – Houndour 44 – Entei 40 (S) again – $4,600

You obtain the GREEN BALL.

The third Admin you beat, in order, was Venus! … and the fourth was Ein. You’ll find these two by taking the center door.

Center door:

A Cipher member blocks the door to Venus…
Easy to beat:
Cipher Peon Giny – Gloom 41 – Sunflora 45 (S) – Jumpluff 42 – $1,800

Jumpluff.

So you arrive in front of Venus!

Cipher Admin Venus – Misdreavus 45 – Bellossom 47 – Wigglytuff 45 – Raichu 45 [Milotic 45] – Suicune 40 (S) again – $4,800

You obtain the BLUE BALL.

Good, let’s get back to our Mareep (well, sheep …).
You still have Ein to beat and then you’ll have finished this little tour of the Admins in Realgam Tower.

Another trainer guards the door leading to Ein.
Cipher Peon Zail – Piloswine 42 – Delibird 45 (S) – Glalie 42 – $1,800

Piloswine.
Cipher Admin Ein – Manectric 49 – Pelipper 50 – Rhydon 48 – Crobat 49 – Starmie 51 – Entei (40) (S) again

You obtain the YELLOW BALL.

Oops! Something is waiting for you in Agate Village … 😉

A little stopover in Agate Village

Take the opportunity to heal, purify Pokémon, buy items … and go to Rui’s grandfather’s house, Es Cade.

Es Cade will give you the Master Ball!

Well, in reality you won’t really need to use it, because there will be two or three Pokémon at most left to snag … if you’re good, you can save it and transfer it a little later to your Ruby or Sapphire (or FireRed/LeafGreen) versions.

You don’t need this Master Ball for Ho-Oh, but we’ll talk about that a little later … 😉

Back to Realgam Tower

Now that you have the 4 balls, go to the big door where they can be placed.
Many trainers are present here!

Let’s say you rush in and only battle the trainers who show up in front of you at the entrance …

Cipher Peon Sterne – Ariados [40] – Masquerain [42] – Heracross [42] (S) – $1,800

And the second one …

Bandana Guy Rai – Nuzleaf (39) – Graveler (42) – Hariyama (41) – Lombre (42) – $672

In front of the elevator, a fake guard is waiting for you … it’s actually SILVA!
He lets you through …

Upstairs, you meet our dear Team Cipher second-in-command, who is waiting for you in the Colosseum on the tower’s roof… chase him …

Gonzap, the leader of Team Snagem, then fights you in a duel …

Battle against Gonzap
Team Snagem Leader Gonzap – Kingler (52) – Shiftry (53) – Pinsir (52) – Hariyama (53) – Skarmory (47) (S) – $3,600

And so here is … the final trial! 🙂

The Colosseum at the top of REALGAM TOWER

You arrive in a magnificent Colosseum, introduced by a beautiful aerial view …
4 trainers are waiting for you, as in a regular Colosseum. If you’ve trained well at Mt. Battle, and your main Pokémon are around level 60, you shouldn’t have any problem!
Here are the 4 trainers:

Bodybuilder Rambi – Miltank (48) (S) – Zangoose (45) – Porygon2 (45) – $1,152
Biker Easy – Absol (48) (S) – Mightyena (46) – Sharpedo (47) – $480
Cipher Peon – Houndoom (48) (S) – Torkoal (47) – Magcargo (46) – $1,920
Cipher Peon Derder – Cradily (48) – Tropius (49) (S) – Cacturne (49) – Vileplume (48) – $1,960

Fortunately, it doesn’t stop there! 🙂
The trainer from Team Cipher’s second-in-command faces you … his dark aura is very noticeable, but the trainer himself is useless … 😉
On the other hand, it’s a good thing your Pokémon are healed from this point on.

Cipher Second-in-Command – Blaziken (54) – Gardevoir (55) – Walrein (56) – Dusclops (55) – Xatu (54) – Metagross (50) (S)

Careful, IT’S NOT OVER YET!!!
Your Pokémon are healed again, and you face … the Mayor of Phenac City, none other than the leader of Team Cipher … 😉

Phenac City
Team Cipher Leader – Scizor (60) – Salamence (60) – Machamp (61) – Slowking (61) – Slaking (60) – Tyranitar (55) (S)

Personally, I used my Master Ball on Tyranitar … (and anyway … what would it be used for in the Game Boy games, huh? ;))

That’s it, the game is over!
The police arrive in the Colosseum to arrest the two Team Cipher members, just as a helicopter meant to help our two villains escape crashes into the Colosseum.
A legendary Pokémon, Ho-Oh, comes to visit you and destroys the helicopter, truly putting an end to Team Cipher’s evil activities…

Tyranitar.

The credits then roll … is this the end?

Not quite!!! There are still a great many Shadow Pokémon to catch, you’re not out of the woods yet.
This is where your very long purification quest begins. Good luck!
