Agate Village
You arrive in a pretty, peaceful little village with several waterfalls… It’s beautiful, poetic… Restful, in short.
Head all the way to the top of the village and you’ll find a house sandwiched between two huge roots (there’s also a young man standing in front of it)… This is the home of Es Cade and his wife, Rui’s grandfather and grandmother. Rui automatically talks to her grandparents, but a young man bursts into the house and warns Es Cade that members of Team Cipher have infiltrated Celebi‘s Altar, and the two men run off. You have to follow them. Leave the house and go to the Pokémon Center. Heal up and save. When you come out, you’ll notice a small path to the left of the Pokémon Center leading down to a lower level and a cave. That’s the way to Celebi’s Altar. => Enter the cave The Celebi’s Altar episode When you leave the cave, you enter Celebi’s Altar.
You decide to help him and battle Skrub… He has a level 38 Shadow Hitmontop… This is the perfect time to use the Snag Machine, especially since you’ll have to face a lot of trainers soon after.
Once your investigation is done, take the binder ‘C’ under the Altar and go back to see Es Cade. He gives you a small tablet about the legend of Celebi. You then receive an e-mail from Duking calling for help at Mt. Battle, which has been overrun by Team Cipher (them again!). To read your e-mails, use the P*DA (Start > P*DA > 3rd option > and open the e-mail). => Leave Agate Village and head to Mt. Battle Mt. Battle Note that from this point on, Ultra Balls are available at the gas station. (Price: $1,200 each)
When you enter, heal your Pokémon and save. Then enter the huge mountain with its platforms numbered 1 to 10. You first battle 9 trainers. After beating them (easily, I hope? ^^), you meet Cipher Admin Dakim…! Go all the way back down before the 10th platform, heal, save and come back… Why? Because you’re going to be able to snag ENTEI! 🙂 You face a kind of sumo wrestler wearing a necklace hung with Poké Balls… That’s Dakim. He’s the second Cipher “executive” after Miror B. (you’ll notice that Team Cipher’s executives are very strange…)
If you fail to catch Entei, don’t panic! You’ll get the chance to meet it again (the very same one) later in the game!
On your way out, you battle a yellow trainer (who runs around a lawn -_-), Rei, who is an absolute joke compared to what you’ve just beaten! But what you’re about to discover is far worse than anything you were expecting…. !

But we’re not here to rest. We’re here to go and see Rui’s grandparents.

Once you’ve beaten Skrub, go back to Es Cade’s house. Then talk to just about everyone in every house in the village (Es Cade has actually asked you to carry out a sort of investigation to learn more about Celebi). You learn that Celebi’s Altar has the power to purify Shadow Pokémon (you’ll be able to take advantage of this very soon).

Once you’ve beaten Dakim and (hopefully) snagged Entei, you can get a control disc. Talk to the poor boy lying on the ground. He thanks you by giving you the Time Flute, which lets you call Celebi in the sacred forest… (hehehe! :))
