Pokémon TCG Pocket runs on a near-constant rhythm of events. Each has its own mechanics and rewards: promo cards, emblems, Shop Tickets, accessories. Here is how to recognize them and get the most out of them, with the current schedule.

Their cards have two colors and target two Weaknesses at once. First example: Mega Mewtwo X ex, Psychic and Fighting.
The four main types of events
Drop Event
Special solo battles against brand-new decks. Each victory earns items and, sometimes, a promo pack containing one card. The higher the difficulty, the better the loot. Example: the Mega Garchomp ex event in October 2026.
Emblem Event
Battles against other players. Depending on your number of wins, you earn emblems (participation, bronze, silver, gold) to display on your profile. Example: the Deluxe Pack: Mega Emblem Event, from October 3 to 13, 2026.
Wonder Pick Event
Two promo cards appear in the special Wonder Picks, marked with a Chansey, and in the free bonus picks. Missions earn event tickets.
Mass Outbreak
For a few days, a type, a Pokémon or a family of cards appears far more often in Wonder Picks. Example: the parallel Shiny cards until October 9, 2026.
Drop Events in detail
Battles in a Drop Event use their own stamina, recharged over time or with Event Hourglasses. Each battle comes in several difficulty levels. The promo packs you obtain contain a single card, drawn from the current volume (Promo-B, Vol. 13 in October 2026).
The opposing deck is often built around the event’s featured Pokémon: study its Weakness to choose your deck.
