Pokémon TCG Pocket has a lot of resources: hourglasses, tickets, dust, gold. Each has a specific use, and mixing them up costs you packs. Here is the role of each item, where to find it and how to spend it best.
Missions
Missions are the main source of free resources. There are several families:
- Beginner missions: open packs, do a Wonder Pick, finish a battle. They earn dozens of Hourglasses.
- Daily missions: small tasks renewed every day.
- Card Dex missions: register a certain number of different cards, rewarded with Shop Tickets.
- Event missions: tied to the current expansion or event.
- Premium missions: reserved for Premium Pass subscribers, rewarded with Premium Tickets.
Hourglasses

Tickets
Shop Ticket
Earned from event missions and solo battles. It can be exchanged for basic Trainer cards, accessories and items.
Special Shop Ticket
Obtained in exchange for rare cards from your collection. It gives access to special accessories and items.
Premium Ticket
Earned from premium missions. It can be exchanged for accessories and exclusive promo cards.
Event Shop Ticket
Tied to a specific event, it lets you get the event’s promo card at the shop.
Emblem Ticket
Specific to an expansion, it is tied to its Emblem Events.
Promo Card Coupon
Handed out when certain events return, it lets you choose a promo you missed.
Shinedust and Poké Gold
