Promo cards cannot be found in any expansion pack. They form two separate series, Promo-A (117 cards, October 2024 to October 2025) and Promo-B (since November 2025), and are obtained through five different channels. Some are essential for playing, while others never come back once their event is over.
The five ways to get promos
The shop
The basic Trainer cards (Potion, X Speed, Poké Ball, Professor’s Research…) are exchanged for two shop tickets each.
Premium missions
Each month, a promo card rewards the premium login mission. Examples: Mewtwo, Moltres ex, Darkrai ex, Entei ex.
Event Wonder Picks
Two promos per Wonder Pick event, to be picked up from Chansey’s picks or in exchange for event tickets.
Promo packs
Battles in Drop Events earn single-card promo packs, numbered by volume (A series, vol. 1 to 13; B series…).
Special missions
Anniversaries, New Year, mass outbreaks: one-off missions offer promos, sometimes Pokémon ex.
