In Pokémon Rumble World, you set off to meet Pokémon aboard hot-air balloons. Each one leads to a destination dedicated to a type or a region, where you fight toy Pokémon to make them your allies. There are nineteen destinations; here is how to unlock them and what you will find there, along with our period guides.
How to travel
- Buy the balloon at the Shop with Poké Diamonds, once you have reached the required rank.
- Depart from the Balloon Station in town. You can’t leave if your team exceeds the capacity of your Pokémon House.
- Wait for repairs: each balloon bursts when the trip ends and needs repairing, which takes from thirty minutes to several hours. You can speed up repairs with Poké Diamonds.

Our destination guides
In 2015, we dedicated a page to each destination, with the Pokémon you meet and the bosses:
- the first ones: Bud Plain, Ocean Cove, Blaze Mountain, Ruby Volcano and Sapphire Sea;
- those of Johto and Sinnoh: Gold Plateau, Silver Archipelago, Diamond Crater and Pearl Marsh;
- those of Unova and Kalos: Black Ruins, White Remnants, Fairy Land and Dark Land;
- the legendary destinations: Origin Lair, Star Islands, Distortion Zone, Plasma Tundra and Mythical Land.
Luck Land, added by update 1.1 in August 2015, is free: it leads to Pokémon you haven’t caught yet, which helps complete the collection of 719 Pokémon.
Our period article Traveling by balloon also explains how the balloons work.
