Pokémon Legends: Arceus features eighteen legendary and mythical Pokémon, from Arceus itself to the three Forces of Nature. Almost all of them are encountered after the credits, through the plate missions and dedicated requests. This page sums up, for each one, the mission or request that makes it available. For the detailed step-by-step of each catch, our article catching all the legendary Pokémon in the game remains the reference.

During the main story
Dialga and Palkia are at the heart of the plot. At the summit of Mount Coronet, the Red Chain forged thanks to the three lake guardians lets you soothe one of the two “Great Sinnoh” Pokémon; the second, in Origin Forme, requires crafting the Origin Ball. The steps are described in our walkthrough: chapter 06 and chapter 07. After the credits, Adaman’s and Irida’s requests let you fight them again in their Origin Forme.
The plates, the common thread of the post-game
After the credits, mission 20 starts the investigation into the legends of Hisui with Volo, and Zisu gives you clues leading to the plates. Each “plate” mission leads to a legendary: the three lake Pokémon, Heatran, Cresselia, Regigigas. The last plate involves a battle against Giratina. Our chapter 08 details these missions in order.
Requests and save data bonuses
Manaphy and Phione, Giratina and the Forces of Nature all go through requests from Jubilife Village: add them to your list as soon as they appear. Shaymin and Darkrai are bonuses reserved for players who have Sword or Shield save data, and Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl save data, on the same console. Our dedicated articles: catching Shaymin, catching Darkrai, getting Manaphy and Phione.
Arceus, the final reward
The encounter with Arceus closes out the game. It requires the Azure Flute, obtained in mission 27, and a complete Pokédex, apart from a few species: our chapter 09 details the conditions. To progress quickly through the Pokédex, see the complete Hisui Pokédex and the Pokédex tasks.
