The Obsidian Fieldlands are the first area you explore, right from the Survey Corps entrance trial. Meadows, forests, a huge waterfall and Lake Verity make for an ideal place to learn how to catch Pokémon: most of them are not very aggressive and Pokédex tasks pile up quickly. It is also the home of Kleavor, the Noble Pokémon of the forest, whom you face at Grandtree Arena.
