On Nintendo 3DS, the grid takes up the touch screen and the opponent is on the top screen; on mobile, the two are combined on a single screen.

Mega Pokémon and legendary Pokémon

Every Pokémon in Shuffle has its icon, and Mega Evolutions, Primal, shiny or Wink forms have theirs. These are the icons you line up on the grid, and they change appearance when the lead Pokémon Mega Evolves in the middle of a battle. Here are some of the game’s most memorable opponents.

Everyday Pokémon

Items

Battle items are bought with coins before each stage; upgrade items are earned in special stages, Mission Cards or the Poké Circuit.
