The first sixty stages of Pokémon Shuffle form the game’s tutorial and its first five areas: Puerto Blanco, Sandy Bazaar, Night Festival, Asul Beach and Rainbow Park. You learn about links, Disruptions, catching and Mega Evolution, mostly with Pokémon from Kanto and Kalos. For each stage, this page gives the Pokémon you face, the number of moves, its HP and its catch rate, followed by tips for each area.
How to read the tables
- Moves: the number of moves you have to knock out the Pokémon.
- HP: the opponent’s hit points.
- Catch rate: the base chance of catching the Pokémon once it has been defeated.
- Bonus per remaining move: what each unused move adds to the catch rate.
- S rank: the number of moves you must have left at the end of the stage to get an S rank, which counts toward unlocking the Expert Stages.
When two values are given, the first applies to the Nintendo 3DS version and the second to Pokémon Shuffle Mobile: a few stages were rebalanced on smartphones.
Puerto Blanco (stages 1 to 10)
The first area serves as a tutorial. Stages 1 to 4 introduce Espurr and the three Kanto starters, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander, with high catch rates: now is the time to build up your team. Stage 5, Eevee, gives you a Jewel on your first victory. Stage 10 pits you against Mega Audino: defeating it earns you its Mega Stone, Audinite, and lets you use your first Mega Pokémon.
