How a Rogue Mega battle works
These battles are unlike any other. The wild Pokémon is enormous, and it doesn’t just target your Pokémon: it targets you too, and your hero can be knocked out. Its charged attacks cover large areas of the arena, shown a few seconds in advance.
- Always keep moving and keep your Pokémon between you and the boss. When the Rogue Mega Evolution Pokémon starts to glow or charge, move away: its special attack is coming.
- Ordinary moves deal little damage to it. Favor Plus moves and Mega Evolve your own Pokémon as early as possible: all of its attacks then become Plus moves.
- Watch out, a Rogue Mega Evolution Pokémon ignores immunities: a Flying-type Pokémon will still take its Ground attacks, for example.
- If your hero is knocked out, the battle restarts from the beginning. Remember to heal your team and bring Potions.
Mission 11: Rogue Mega Slowbro
A strong concentration of Mega Power has been detected around a Slowbro in the Cyan Sector district, in Montprélasse Park. Follow the marker on the map.

Mega Slowbro
Mega Slowbro bounces from one end of the arena to the other and fires Water Pulse and Psybeam. Its charged attack releases water whirlpools that move away from it: spot the gaps between them and slip through rather than fleeing in a straight line.
It is slow: take advantage of the downtime after its jumps to land your Dark, Ghost, Bug, Grass or Electric attacks. Mega Absol is perfect here.
Reward: Slowbronite
Mission 12: Rogue Mega Camerupt
Head to Jaune Sector 3, on the east side of the city.

Mega Camerupt
Mega Camerupt moves around while launching Earth Power. Its charged attack comes in two steps: it first hurls volcanic rocks all over the place, then ignites a wall of flames that sets them off in a chain explosion. As soon as the rocks fall, move away from all of them, not just the nearest one.
Fire and Ground, it is 4x weak to Water: a Water-type Pokémon puts it in trouble within a few Plus moves. Ground, Fighting and Rock work too.
Reward: Cameruptite
Mission 13: Rogue Mega Victreebel
The last one is in Magenta Sector 9, to the west.

Mega Victreebel
Mega Victreebel strafes you with Bullet Seed from a distance and strikes with Power Whip if you stay in close. Its charged attack, Sludge Bomb, creates poison puddles on the ground: they deal damage and poison you. Never walk through a puddle, go around it.
Grass and Poison, it is weak to Fire, Ice, Flying and Psychic. Tepig and its evolutions have a field day.
Reward: Victreebelite
Back to Hotel Z
With the three Pokémon calmed down, return to Hotel Z to file your report. Team MZ can catch its breath… until the announcement of your next opponent: the famous streamer Narica. Continued in Chapter 5.
