The data you’ve gathered finally reveals the origin of Hyperspace Lumiose. You must enter the giant rift above the tower and face its creator. Then it’s time for Anya’s dream: catching the legendary Pokémon she glimpsed, not forgetting the two giants of Hoenn.

Extra Lumiose: Research Mission 6🎁 Darkrai ×1 · Darkranite ×1

Extradimensional Mission 11: Research No. 6

  1. Stop by the Bruiser Agency, then find Corvault.
  2. Explore Hyperspace Lumiose until you reach 50,000 research points.
  3. Return to Hotel Z and wait for Corvault: the plan is to prepare a Donut boosted by Mega Evolution so that Hoopa opens a portal to the great rift.
  4. Prepare the Nightmare Donut, then tell Corvault you’re ready.

The portal takes you, with Urbain/Taunie and Korrina, to a place that looks like Newmoon Island in Sinnoh: the Newmoon Island Nightmare. The one responsible for everything is revealed: Darkrai, who had taken refuge at the top of the tower and was gorged with Mega Power when the Angel awoke.

The Newmoon Island Nightmare
Mega Darkrai

Mega Darkrai

No. 200DarkHyperspace Lumiose
Weaknesses
×2FightingBugFairy×0Psychic

The battle is fought in two phases. Darkrai, in its normal form, slips away with Phantom Force and makes your Pokémon drowsy with Dark Void: a drowsy Pokémon near it keeps losing HP. Cure the drowsiness as soon as it appears.

Once defeated, it Mega Evolves. Mega Darkrai rains a huge mass of energy onto the arena, sparing only a few small zones, and creates copies of itself with Phantom Force that release shock waves and energy spheres. Pure Dark, it fears Fighting, Bug and Fairy.

Reward: Darkranite

🙈 An unexpected encounter (spoiler)

In the Newmoon Island Nightmare, a materialization of AZ and his Floette, created by Hyperspace Lumiose, appears before you. He thanks Team MZ for everything it has done, then bids you farewell.

Extradim. Mission12
The greatest gift🎁 Rayquaza ×1

Extradimensional Mission 12: the most beautiful of gifts

Hyperspace Lumiose will persist a while longer: Team MZ takes the opportunity to help Anya make her dream come true. Corvault has information about the Pokémon she glimpsed.

  1. Accumulate 70,000 research points, then find Corvault at the Neo Café.
  2. Bring the Hoenn Coarse Salt to Anya: it goes into the legendary Donut recipes.
  3. Catch Groudon in the ruby-colored rift and Kyogre in the sapphire-colored rift (missions 13 and 14, below).
  4. Go back and talk to Anya, then accumulate 100,000 research points.
  5. Back at Hotel Z, prepare the Old-Fashioned Delta that opens the emerald-colored rift, which has appeared above the hotel, and join Korrina and Urbain/Taunie.
Extradim. Mission13
The ruby-colored legend🎁 Groudon ×1 · Red Orb ×1

Extradimensional Mission 13: the ruby-colored legend

Prepare the Old-Fashioned Omega to open the ruby rift (in Jaune Sector 11), then join Korrina and Urbain/Taunie at the Desolate Land.

Mega Groudon
Legendary battle · Desolate Land · Extradim. Mission 13

Groudon, then Primal Groudon

GroundHyperspace Lumiose
Weaknesses
×2WaterGrassIce×0Electric

First phase: Groudon attacks with Precipice Blades and Solar Beam. Once defeated, it undergoes its Primal Reversion thanks to the Red Orb: Water moves no longer affect it, and its attacks (Precipice Blades, Scorching Sands) become even stronger. Its charged attack turns almost the whole arena into lava, except for a small zone that moves several times: follow it.

With no Water moves, rely on Ice (against the normal form), Ground and Grass against Primal Groudon (Ground and Fire).

Extradim. Mission14
The sapphire-colored legend🎁 Kyogre ×1 · Blue Orb ×1

Extradimensional Mission 14: the sapphire-colored legend

Prepare the Old-Fashioned Alpha to open the sapphire rift (in Wild Zone 5), then join your allies in the Primordial Sea.

Mega Kyogre
Legendary battle · Primordial Sea · Extradim. Mission 14

Kyogre, then Primal Kyogre

WaterHyperspace Lumiose
Weaknesses
×2GrassElectric

Kyogre moves around with Surf and strikes with Origin Pulse and Ice Beam. After its Primal Reversion (Blue Orb), Fire moves no longer work and its Water attacks are boosted. Its charged attack creates beams of water around the arena that spin rapidly, several times in a row: spin with them while keeping your distance.

It fears Grass and Electric: Mega Meganium, Mega Ampharos, Mega Eelektross or Zeraora hit the mark.

Rayquaza, the most beautiful of gifts

Mega Rayquaza
Rogue Mega · Sky Pillar · Extradim. Mission 12

Mega Rayquaza

No. 200DragonFlyingHyperspace Lumiose
Weaknesses
×4Ice×2RockDragonFairy×0Ground

Rayquaza is fought in two phases. In its normal form, it uses Dragon Ascent and Hyper Voice and strikes with Outrage up close. Once Mega Evolved, its Delta Stream erases the weaknesses tied to the Flying type: Ice now only deals double damage and Rock becomes neutral again.

Its charged attack creates tornadoes that pull you in while Meteor Beams rain down: fight the suction and dodge. It can also take off in an immense tornado before diving at you with Dragon Ascent: attack the tornado to interrupt it. Its weaknesses: Ice, Dragon and Fairy.
