The Pokémon Lab: Welcome to Orre!
In fact, it was a simulation, run by you, the hero.
Once the training is over, go out and head north-east on your floor. Your mother, Lily, and Prof. Krane, a Purification researcher, welcome you.
Your mother is worried: she is looking for your sister, Jovi. You have to go and find her, but first go down to the floor below, to your room, to pick up your P★DA (Pokémon Digital Assistant).
This tool will be very useful throughout the game, and lets you check the Pokémon you have met, caught and purified and, more immediately, read your mail.
There are also 3 Potions in your room. Handy.
Go to a room not far from there: under a table you will find a friend of Jovi’s who is playing hide-and-seek with her. He tells you she went to Dr. Kaminko’s mansion, and shows you where it is.
Go downstairs and outside to take the path from the lab. A Trainer may battle you with a Sentret against your Eevee, which is a harsh reality check compared with your mighty Salamence from the start of the game.
Leave the lab and go and explore the mansion.
