Pokémon XD walkthrough: Citadark Isle, XD001, Greevil

The final act takes place on Citadark Isle, a volcano off the coast of Gateon Port that has become Cipher’s headquarters. Prepare a solid team, plenty of Ultra Balls and the Master Ball given by Krane: more than thirty Shadow Pokémon await you there, including three legendaries and XD001.

Arrival and the first floors

At the harbor, a Cipher Navigator welcomes you with a Shadow Golduck and a Shadow Sableye. Enter the volcano and make your way up floor by floor, battling the Trainers who guard each elevator. Before the first one, Cipher Admin Lovrina is waiting for you again.

The volcano and its puzzles

The lava floor: push the white blocks to stop the lava flows and dry up the path.
The floating blocks: use them to cross the following floors.
The Hook Room: each colored hook carries you to the end of the same color; find the right sequence to reach the elevator.

Two guards battle you one after the other in front of an elevator: heal up beforehand. At the top, Cipher Admin Snattle bursts out of another elevator.

Ardos, Gorigan and Eldes

On the bridge leading to the domed building, Ardos, the bodyguard in blue, blocks your way. It is a tough battle: three of his Pokémon are Shadow Pokémon. Greevil congratulates you, then shuts himself away behind a pane of glass. As you retrace your steps, Gorigan is waiting for you in turn. Through the elevator he took, you reach the dome room, on the other side of the glass, where Eldes, the bodyguard in red, battles you with four Shadow Pokémon.

XD001 and Greevil

Greevil is waiting for you in the middle of the arena. He presents his creation, the Shadow Pokémon that cannot be purified, and opens the roof to call XD001: a level 50 Shadow Lugia. Catch it; this is the moment to use the Master Ball. Greevil then battles you with six Pokémon, all of them Shadow Pokémon: you have to weaken them without knocking them out in order to catch them, all while surviving.

The ending

With Greevil defeated, Ardos wants to blow up the island; Eldes objects, calls Greevil “father” and convinces him to surrender. The sun finally breaks through over Orre, and everyone who helped you gathers at the Pokémon HQ Lab. The credits roll.
