FireRed & LeafGreen: Snorlax, Safari Zone

With the Poké Flute in hand, the southern route is finally open. Two sleeping Snorlax, a sloping Cycling Road, then Fuchsia City and its Safari Zone, home to two essential HMs and Pokémon found nowhere else.

😴The two Snorlax

South of Lavender Town, a Snorlax sleeps across Route 12. Play the Poké Flute: it wakes up in a very bad mood. A second Snorlax blocks Route 16, west of Celadon City. These are the only two in the region: save before each battle.

🎣The eastern route: Routes 12 to 15

Route 12 runs along the coast to the south. In a house in the middle of the route, the Fishing Guru’s brother gives you the Super Rod, the best fishing rod in the game. In the gatehouse, upstairs, a little girl gives you TM27 Return. Routes 13, 14 and 15, mazes of hedges and tall grass, then lead to Fuchsia City. On 2F of the Route 15 gatehouse, one of Professor Oak’s aides gives the Exp. Share to Trainers whose Pokédex is well filled out.
