The Sapphire lies at the bottom of a cave on Six Island, guarded by Braille puzzles. But a Team Rocket scientist is on the lookout… The chase will take you all the way to the Rocket Warehouse on Five Island, the organization’s last hideout, and across the wildest islands of the archipelago.

🔷The Dotted Hole (Six Island)

Take the ferry to Six Island, then cross Ruin Valley to a strange cave, the Dotted Hole. Its door is sealed; the Braille inscription tells you to use Cut. Inside, there are no wild Pokémon or trainers: only floors full of holes. Fall through the first hole, then follow the Braille directions by jumping, in order, into the top, left, right and bottom holes. A mistake sends you back to the start.

Just as you approach the Sapphire, the scientist Gideon snatches it from you: he plans to sell it to Team Rocket. As he flees, he lets slip the second password for the Warehouse: “Yes nah Chansey”.

🏭The Rocket Warehouse (Five Island)

On Five Island, cross Five Isle Meadow to the Rocket Warehouse. The door requires both passwords: “Goldeen need log” (Mt. Ember) and “Yes nah Chansey” (Dotted Hole). Inside, as in the Celadon City hideout, a maze of boxes and arrow tiles awaits. Defeat the Grunts, cross the tiles to reach the eastern part, then face the two Admins.

The second Admin notices your Earth Badge and realizes you are the one who defeated Giovanni: Team Rocket on the Sevii Islands is dismantled for good. At the back of the warehouse, defeat Gideon to recover the Sapphire.

🏝️Five Island’s other treasures

  1. The Memorial Pillar: a boy is mourning his Onix. Place a Lemonade at the foot of the pillar: he gives you TM42 Facade. A Metal Coat lies around on the island, enough to evolve Onix into Steelix by trade.
  2. The Water Labyrinth: on the islet far to the west, an old man gives you a Togepi Egg if the Pokémon at the head of your party is completely devoted to you. It is the only way to get Togepi.
  3. Resort Gorgeous, to the north: a young woman gives an item at each visit, often a Luxury Ball.

🌿Wild Six Island

Beyond Ruin Valley, Six Island teems with Johto Pokémon. In Pattern Bush, the trees shelter Heracross; show one to the woman in Water Path and she will give you a Nest Ball. The Lost Cave, a maze of identical rooms, hides a Rare Candy and a Silk Scarf at the end of specific routes.

🗼Seven Island: Trainer Tower and Tanoby Ruins

In the north of Seven Island, the Trainer Tower offers timed challenges against trainers at the same level as your best Pokémon, with no experience or money as a reward. Four modes (Single, Double, Knockout and Mixed) earn you, on the rooftop, an Upgrade, a Dragon Scale, a Metal Coat or a King’s Rock. On the bridge to the south, a man teaches Swords Dance, only once.

To the south, Sevault Canyon is home to the strongest trainers of the archipelago and to rare Pokémon, including Larvitar. At the very end, the Tanoby Ruins spread over seven islets. In the canyon, the Tanoby Key room hides a puzzle of boulders to push with Strength: solve it to open the seven Tanoby Chambers, where the Unown live (step 19).
