🌧️Route 119 and the Weather Institute

Route 119 is covered in tall grass: you cannot run or bike there. It rains two days out of three. In the middle of the route, the Weather Institute has been stormed by the enemy team, which wants to seize its climate research. Defeat the Grunts and their Admin upstairs: the researchers give you Castform, the weather Pokémon, which changes form depending on the weather.

Farther north, your rival is waiting for you on a bridge. Defeat them: they give you HM02 Fly. You will be able to use it after earning the Feather Badge.

🌳Fortree City and the invisible Kecleon

Fortree City is a village built in the trees. But something invisible is blocking access to the Gym! Continue on Route 120: Steven Stone is waiting for you there on a bridge, which is also blocked. He uses his Devon Scope to reveal a camouflaged Kecleon: defeat or catch it, and Steven gives you the device. Back in Fortree City, reveal the second Kecleon: the Gym is now accessible.

Our strategy

Flying-type Pokémon fear Electric, Ice and Rock moves. Altaria, Dragon and Flying, takes four times the damage from Ice-type moves: an Ice Beam or an Icy Wind knocks it out immediately. Beware of its Dragon Dance and Earthquake. Skarmory (Steel and Flying) fears only Electric and Fire.
