From Mossdeep City, Surf south to Route 128. Spot the dark water area and use Dive. At the bottom, follow the corridor: the stolen submarine is moored there, in front of the entrance to the Seafloor Cavern. Resurface inside the cave.

🪨The Cavern’s Puzzles

The cavern is a series of rooms where you have to push boulders with Strength and smash the ones blocking the way with Rock Smash. If you get stuck, leave the room and come back: the boulders return to their places. Six Grunts from the two Teams await you along the way.

Our strategy

Sharpedo, at level 43, hits hard but stands up poorly to Fighting, Grass, Electric and Bug attacks. Mightyena and its Intimidate lower your Attack: rely on special attacks.

Despite your victory, the leader holds up the orb and awakens the legendary Pokémon, which escapes at once. The Hoenn sky goes wild:

In Emerald, Groudon has already been awakened by Team Magma, and Archie awakens Kyogre. The two legendaries will clash at Sootopolis City, plunging Hoenn into climate chaos: drought and deluge at the same time.

At the exit of the cavern, Steven Stone meets you: the source of the catastrophe is in Sootopolis City, a city built in a crater in the middle of the sea.
