Locations in the adventure

The eight Gym Badges

Each Gym Leader’s team and our advice: the Gym Leaders. The League and the Elite Four: the Pokémon League. Your battles against your rival: Brendan and May.

The main stages at a glance

From Littleroot Town to Mauville City (chapters 1 to 4)

You rescue Professor Birch and pick your starter Pokémon (Treecko, Torchic or Mudkip), then earn your first three Badges as you cross western Hoenn. The PokéNav Plus and the DexNav quickly become your best tools (see the PokéNav Plus).

The Team takes the stage (chapters 5 to 9)

Team Magma (in Omega Ruby) or Team Aqua (in Alpha Sapphire) strikes again and again, from Mt. Chimney to Mt. Pyre. You meet Latios or Latias, which will soon let you fly. Our feature on Teams Aqua and Magma introduces their members.

The crisis and the League (chapters 10 to 12)

The legendary Pokémon of your version awakens: this is Primal Reversion. Once Hoenn is saved, the final Badge opens the way to Victory Road and the Pokémon League.

The Delta Episode (chapters 13 and 14)

After the League, a threat from space kicks off the Delta Episode, featuring Zinnia, the Lorekeepers, Mega Rayquaza and Deoxys. Our summary page: the Delta Episode.
